US Visa Waiver Program permits citizens of 41 countries to travel to the United States for business or tourism for stays of up to 90 days without a visa. They must first apply for a travel authorization - The Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) and to be approved.
NOTE: This option is only for travelers for tourism and short business activities. We are sorry for the bad news but you may not use VWP to work or study in the USA. For these activities you need to obtain work visa or student visa no matter what country you are from.
You will also need a B1/B2 visa if you are refused an ESTA.
Hey, do not blame us, this is the law!
